Hello, and welcome to my page. I've only been playing Elder Scrolls for about a year or two, but it is by far one of my favorite games. So far, I've made several characters, and with them have completed Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles, the Fighters Guild, the Mages Guild, the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild, and the arena. I've pretty familiar with the game's mechanics, so if you need to know how to do anything, I can probably help you. If I can't help you find something out, I'll help find it out for us both.

Notice the bad-jokes stat block. I decided to throw in some game equivalencies. Morrowind has me pinned down as a spellsword, which fits. I would never pass up on the usefulness of magic, but at the same time, you can't deny the effectiveness and reliability of just hitting things. Now I just need to make up better base and refence IDs, and I'm set!

My favorite character would have to be Martin Septim, and my favorite type of character is stealth, second only to a melee/magic type. Solid melee proves to be too difficult on my slow computer, and magic alone I struggle with as the monsters get more powerful, but using stronger spells only seems to use magicka faster. I like trying out unorthodox playing styles. I have an argonian character, stealth-based, who fights using only hand-to-hand. No armor, at all. Naturally I did the Theives Guild with this character. He's level 14, and has around 90 hand-to-hand (thanks to trainers). It was around level 12 when I had to fold and use armor. Stealth alone isn't too helpful in the main storyline. The highest level I've gotten a character to was 33, my first character, stealth type, using marksman and conjuration. This character was the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, and my first to beat Shivering Isles. The only character I have beaten the main quest with is Serran, the best melee/magic type character I've made. He ended with max strength and endurance, some very powerful anti-damage and anti-magic equipment, and a nice looking statue. I'd say my opinion on the ending of main quest, but if I did I might ruin it for some people.

Recommended Mods for Oblivion:

N's Balanced Weaponry (At least for Hand-to-Hand and Melee.)

Capes and Cloaks (I use the brown cape myself.)

Ren's Beautiful People (Mystic Elves are hot!)

Salmo The Baker (Apparently, Salmo didn't sell enough pastries in Skingrad. All I know is, it adds more foods, which help for alchemy. One of which is, gasp! Muffins!)

Oblivion Collectable Cards (The cards are of everything not random or mundane. Places, people, and things. The added NPCs are voice acted, though you may not like it. The only thing is, the cards are worth at least 250, and up to 1000 septim ones can be easily found at low levels. If you think having a lot of money early unbalances the game too much, either don't use it, or don't sell the cards. Any shop buys them. If you want to sell them, but don't want to unbalance the game, I suggest using it on things like Frostcrage or Battlethorn Castle.)

Lately I have been playing Morrowind. It's certainly much more difficult than Oblivion, but I enjoy it's vastness, and that it requires you get more involved. I also like that Speechcraft is something you actually have to be skilled at to use, and that it's usefulness is much higher. As for combat, I had to go for Spears and Medium armor. If anyone happens to know a mod that adds more Medium armor to the game (even just copies of existing armor with different stats and names) I would really appreciate it if you gave me a link to it. I certainly don't miss the leveled enemies and NPCs... Goodbye leveling problem, hello not-picking-fights-with-random-NPCs. I can actually play a stealth character, focus on non-combat abilities for 10 levels, then still survive against enemies!
