When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Farmer

Oh, its okay. Sorry too, for being mean myself. I'm just tired, and it was my first UESP edit and I was ticked off. But, I had no right to post that when you were just trying to improve the page, given you know more than me. Sorry. Call it quits? :)E4Whovian 00:35, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Advice

As some advice to add on to the Farmer page stuff, E4Whovian, if you think there is an issue with someone removing what you think is good content, please start a conversation on the talk page. I'd also like to note that edits like this that replace the entire content with a personal comment would be considered nonsense, which is, in some cases, vandalism; comments such as this should be reworded in a productive manner (such as "Why was my information deleted?") and placed on the article's talk page, as removing all content is a lot more detrimental than adding new content.

But don't be afraid to add content! Don't apologize for attempting to contribute, either. Sometimes we all make mistakes. As for getting ticked off at removal of your content, you might want to check out our etiquette policy--a big one around here is to assume good faith. Not a lot of people will undo edits out of trying to be mean or something similar, so it's best to assume that they've got good intentions. Vely^{►Talk►Email} 00:41, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry to all

I have been using UESP for years, and just created an account. I am sorry for editing pages incorrectly and making crass remarks when someone else removed my information to improve it. I am sorry, and once I've mastered page making, I'll do it right. Don't be sorry! We don't hate you, we're trying to help you out :)

Check out the site's sandbox if you want to try out editing. If you want to practice editing without having your edits undone (because the site's sandbox does need to be cleaned every now and then to display what it does now), you could even make your own--it wouldn't be official site content, just your own place to practice. You could even copy the content of the Farmer page to your own sandbox and practice altering it there, just to see what it looks like. Vely^{►Talk►Email} 00:52, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
