Workspace[edit]

As I work through editing this page, I may drop things into here to save them for later, or to help with reorganizing. Please don't edit this page without something to contribute. --Mike | Contrib 12:54, 5 September 2008 (EDT)

List of things needed to be confirmed[edit]

If I see something I know to be false, I'm just going to delete it outright. Anything I'm not sure on, or that isn't confirmed, I'm bringing in here first for personal testing.

  • NOTE: Guards can be killed without incurring a bounty, by killing them in a non-public place (when you are considered to be trespassing), even if there are witnesses.
  • REDUNDANT? - "Murder" is your killing of a NPC who originally had no intention to become hostile towards the player, those that turned "evil" after you joined a certain organization; (Blades, Mages Guild) and any NPC inside the city walls whom suddenly lost the will to fight. (e.g. Arena Combatants, Blackwood Company members, and Mythic Dawn agents.)
  • Attacking a creature is never an assault unless it's a summoned Daedra of a friendly NPC or in rare cases, summoned undead. (e.g. Ancestor Guardian of a friendly Dark Elf.) Pets, horses, and farm animals are someone's property thus would be regarded as an assault of the NPC who owns them. There are some exceptions to this as well. e.g. Ghost of the Akaviri Commander, who is regarded as an NPC, and non-hostile although clearly he is not a citizen of the Empire, his army tried to kill you and you don't need a Black Soul Gem to trap his soul.
