Narin

Narin is an Argonian farmer who lives in Leyawiin with her husband Otumeel.

She wakes up at 6am every morning, gets dressed, and heads out to sweep the streets: on Morndas, Middas, and Fredas, she works just south of the canal; on Tirdas and Turdas, she goes to the castle courtyard; and on weekends, she sweeps the plaza with the large tree in the noble quarter. She works from 7am to 9pm, goes home to eat dinner for three hours, and fall into bed at midnight.

She wears a belted vest, belted braies, and braided leather sandals, and carries some tuna, a broom, and a house key.

Otumeel's house is located in the northeastern part of Leyawiin. The house is situated in between Dar Jee's house and Betto Plotius' house. The sleeping area in the southwest corner holds his double bed and a chest of drawers and cupboard that both contain clutter. The table in the dining area in the southeast corner of the house holds four radishes, two potatoes, a loaf of bread, and a covered bowl that contains food. On the wall behind the table is a chest that contains armor and/or weapons, and a cupboard that holds a huntsman vest on top of it. The locked chest in the southeastern corner contains gold and clutter. This chest, the armor/weapons chest, and the two clutter sacks are the only non-respawning containers in the house. The chest of drawers next to the clutter sack on the east wall holds more clutter, and on top sits five blackberries, two apples, and a loaf of bread. A table on the north wall holds a second clutter sack and a cheese wedge.

Narin has little to say, though she is willing to praise the church for their generosity: "Yes, good sir. Zenithar's grace is with us. Silana came, Silana Blandia. A kind woman. Healed me and my husband. She left some food, and money for a bedspread. Silana is very kind. Avrus is not so kind, he is strict. But he protected us when they wanted to take our house. Avrus does not give money, he teaches Otumeel to pray and sometimes gives us paid work in the chapel." As for the primate himself, she says: "He is an important gentleman. A very self-important, highly vocal, very pleased with himself gentleman. Who doesn't like to give alms, and does not like the poor. He doesn't need to love the poor. He serves Zenithar in the Great Chapel, with the countess. Silana and Avrus come to us. That's alright."
