Pathway to the main tower

Tel Mithryn is the main tower in the settlement of Tel Mithryn, home of Neloth, and his apprentice, Talvas Fathryon.

The entrance to the tower is at the bottom of a deep pit, with a magical teleportation pad providing access to Neloth's living area. The main area is filled with many desks, crates and potions, as well as two arcane enchanters. After the quest Reluctant Steward, you are granted access to a locked side room containing a Black Book, the staff enchanter and a second arcane enchanter. Following the completion of the quest Healing a House, the withered part of the tower will be replaced by a prison containing spriggans.

[edit] Notes

  • Even though Neloth tells you he will keep a bed and chest for you after completing the quest Old Friends, there is not a chest specifically for you and all of the beds are still owned.

[edit] Bugs

  • If a follower follows you into Tel Mithryn, it's possible that when you leave they will not exit with you. If you reenter Tel Mithryn, and the follower wasn't tagged essential, you may find them dead on the upper or lower platform. This is most likely caused by their inability to interact with the lift in Tel Mithryn, causing them to fall and die.
    • This can be easily avoided by asking them to wait outside before you enter.
    • It appears that telling your follower to wait and then telling them to follow you again fixes this.
