Pilbira, a Khajiit enchantress who saved Twisted Briar Clan chief

Twisted Briar Clan was one of numerous clans of Reachfolk that lived in the Reach during the Second Era. They used to feud with Spiritdancer Clan.[1]

History[edit]

Twisted Briar Shoulder Tats

At some point during the sixth century of the Second Era the holdings of Twisted Briar Clan were raided by the Spiritdancer Clan. The chief of the Twisted Briar Clan was saved by the Khajiit enchantress Pilbira, who accidentally killed all the raiders.[1]

Years later, in 2E 582, the Gray Host descended onto the Reach to search for an ancient artifact of great power. Many of the Reachfolk clans stayed in Markarth at the behest of Ard Caddach.[2][3] It is unknown whether the members of the Twisted Briar Clan decided to move to Markarth, but Pilbira, the Khajiit enchantress who saved their leader was a citizen of the City of Stone as of that time.[1]

Notes[edit]

  • The Reachfolk adorn their bodies with a broad variety of markings that are specific to the clan they belong to.[4] Twisted Briar markings were popularized across the Tamriel as of 2E 582.[5]
