Masseranit is a bandit cave located on the first large island southwest of Molag Mar. ^[edit]

The entrance faces southeast just off the shoreline on the eastern side of the island.

There are five hostile NPCs here including three spellcasters.

There are an impressive number of barrels and crates here given the relatively small size of this cave. The random loot to be found here includes: scrolls, potions, alchemical ingredients, gold, gems, clothing, various sundries, jewelry, weapons, armor, an apprentice's armorer's hammer, magic items, ash statues, skooma, moon sugar and soul gems.

• As with any bandit cave, there is a random potential for soul gems in any of the crates and barrels found within. Given the sheer number of crates and barrels to search here there is a good probability of finding multiples of both greater and grand soul gems in Masseranit.
