The default Magicka Multiplier is 1, NOT 0.5

Never edited this thing, but it seems pretty straightforward to me. None of my spells decreased in magicka cost as I leveled up, and just to test it, I just fortified myself up with 700 extra willpower, with no difference in cost. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.148.174.58 (talk • contribs).

I concur. It looks as though two sentences have got merged somewhere along the way. The casting cost of a spell is not affected by anything other than the magic effect used, magnitude, and duration. Your skill in the spell school and your willpower affect your success chance. I have attempted a rewrite of the article to this effect. --Gaebrial 09:11, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
