Walkthrough

Rilar Lluvis has been targeted by the Assassins because he treats his slaves too well (*gasp!*). You've been sent to make an example of him. He's not the target, though - his slaves are. Go talk to Alberto, who will give you a choice on how to handle this: you can either lead the slaves out into the desert to die, or sell them off and split the profits with him. He'll direct you to a friend of his named Kulim Tadave.

Talk to Kulim; if you don't anger him, you can strike a deal to meet at the city gate after acquiring the slaves. Go to Rilar's house, talk to the slaves there, and convince them to follow you (but don't get caught by Rilar, or you'll fail the quest!).

You can them lead them out to the desert, or to Kulim. Depending on how you play it with Kulim, you can get either 100 or 200 gold each for the slaves. If you sell them to Kulim, you can return to Alberto and split the profits; if you kill them, he'll be angry (which will have consequences later on). Either way, once you've made your decision, report to Typhola, then talk to Alberto, and the quest will be complete.

10		Alberto told me that Lluvis deserves a lesson, because he pampers his slaves a lot. Either I will take his personal slaves and set them out in the desert to die, or I'll sell them to Alberto's friend Kulim and share the proceeds with Alberto. The choice is mine.
20		I talked to Kulim and told him about Alberto. He wants to wait for me in front of the gate. That means I have to steal Rilar Luvis' house slaves myself.
21		I talked to Kulim and told him about selling the slaves. He wants to wait for me in front of the gate. That means I have to steal Rilar Luvis' house slaves myself.
25		The slaves follow me now, but there are only three. It looks like one of them had an accident. I wonder what happened there.
30		I have angered Kulim. Now he is no longer willing to buy some of my slaves. Now only the opportunity to expose them in the desert remains to me.
50		I brought Kulim the slaves, and he seemed to be quite satisfied with them. However, he seems to believe that I am only Alberto's errand boy and paid me about 100 gold pieces for each man. Typhola won't know about it either way. or I brought Kulim the slaves, and he seemed to be quite satisfied with them. My independent presence impressed him well, so he gave me 200 gold pieces for each of them. Typhola won't know about it either way.
60		I took the slaves into the desert. I can now leave them to their fate. Typhola will be pleased. or Typhola seemed to be pleased with me. I have again gained some respect from the Assassins. Now I have to go to Alberto to share the gold with him.
100	Finishes quest	Typhola seemed to be pleased with me. I have again gained some respect from the Assassins. Let's see what Alberto has to say since the slaves earned him no gold. or Alberto seemed to be very happy with the 300 gold coins. I have again gained some respect.
120	Finishes quest	Alberto wasn't very excited when I could only give him 150 gold pieces, but a little gold is better than no gold.

130	Finishes quest	I seem to be a deterrent to Rilar's slaves. When I claimed to be their new owner, they ran to Rilar as fast as their legs could carry them. My task has failed.
190	Finishes quest	I was discovered by Rilar Lluvis when I tried to steal his slaves. My task has failed.
200	Finishes quest	I was discovered by Rilar Lluvis while trying to steal his slaves. My task has failed.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss04Business stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
