On the platform above the door, there is a chest with some minor loot. I don't know how to manipulate the image to show the green dot and I can't check the CS for the chest type or anything, could someone else fix the image and description or at least instruct me on how so I can fix other pages? Containers with no chance of containing any useful loot were left off of all of the maps: some dungeons contain dozens of barrels, crates, and chests that contain nothing but clutter, and adding all of those containers to the maps would just make it impossible to identify the containers that have some chance of containing valuable items. --NepheleTalk 23:22, 8 February 2008 (EST)
By minor loot I meant some gold and a lockpick. If we mark dead goblins that hold nothing but a lockpick, why not mark this chest? Colovian 23:34, 8 February 2008 (EST)
The chest you're talking about is a WildernessChest02, which has a 15% chance of containing a lockpick, a 75% chance of containing clutter, and 1-10 gold. It's also non-respawning, so you'll find this stuff once and from then on it will always be empty. I didn't think a one-time 15% chance of containing a lockpick was significant enough to make it worth marking this type of chest. Dead goblins are shown because some readers seem to find dead goblins very interesting, as evidenced by multiple screenshots of dead goblins that have been added to the site, and multiple attempts to add lists of dead goblins to the Easter Eggs page. It's not because of the single lockpick you can find on their corpses.
A line had to be drawn somewhere about what was considered to be significant and what wasn't (for example, see Oblivion Places Redesign Project and its talk page). And at this point, I'd need to see a pretty persuasive argument to convince me that it's worth adding more items to the list of what's significant, because going through and updating the hundreds (thousands?) of maps that have been created is an enormous task. --NepheleTalk 00:29, 9 February 2008 (EST)
I didn't realize it was non-respawning. Like I said, I can't use the CS because I run the game on Xbox. Thanks for checking, Nephele. I thought it was simply a mapmaker's oversight. Colovian 12:07, 9 February 2008 (EST)
