Bug

Regarding the bug mentioned in the article, I've actually cleared the place for the Jarl without problems on my first visit there. However, on a subsequent visit as part of a miscellaneous "search & destroy" mission - I found the Briarheart lying already dead. I was able to resurrect him so I could kill him again and continue on. The bug apparently has a number of ways to strike. ComaDivine 08:34, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Moved bug.

• Possible bug: If you clear this area prior to beginning the missions to become a Markarth Thane, the Forsworn Briarheart in this area may not respawn. The corpse will remain as the mission target, but the quest cannot be advanced.

Dragon

It might not be within the regular worldspace, but dragons can still attack here - unless that is scripted. 124.168.107.136 23:45, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

It is regular worldspace, you can fast travel to Hag's End. The Silencer has spoken^Talk 11:50, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Merge

I think this page should be merged with Skyrim:Deepwood Redoubt, as that page has much more in-depth info on Deepwood Vale, and technically the vale is not an actual zone but an exterior area of the redoubt.

They should be merged. As you don't 'clear' Deepwood Redoubt until you kill everyone in Deepwood Vale as well. --SodiumHyena (talk) 13:51, 15 April 2013 (GMT)

The Deepwood Vale section in the Deepwood Redoubt article has been fleshed out recently. I'm not sure if all the information found here have been merged; if not, whatever remaining information should be transferred over, and then this page can be turned into a redirect. ~ Psylocke 06:40, 28 November 2013 (GMT)

Just seen this, I agree it should be merged as I don't believe most people looking on the wiki would know to look on this page when clearing out Deepwood Redoubt. When would this be done? Biffa (talk) 02:55, 4 April 2014 (GMT)

The only things that weren't on the other page that were on this one were the note and bug added by Kastagir at 22:59 on 27 January 2012. I'm not sure how relevant/accurate those details are but I went ahead and added them to the other page and changed this one to a redirect.
