I didn't know this character was once part of the Morag Tong. As far as I know the only thing we know about his past is that he once was a Assassin.

There is more to Hler than one would think. There are rumors that he was once an assassin. It is fairly widely known that he is the leader of the Hands of Almalexia. This is not a person to be trifled with. -Barenziah

I already looked throgh all of Fedris' and Barenziah's dialogue as well as the two topics "Fedris Hler" , "Hands of Almalexia" and "Almalexia". No reference to the Morag Tong found.

And it respected by adversaries, not from. ;)
