Informal ways to contact me

IRC

If you need any help connecting to IRC, drop me a message below and I'll assist where I can!

Windows Live Messenger

Feel free to add me to WLM, my ID is elliot-uesp@live.com; when adding me specify who you are otherwise I will not accept.

Why are you here?

  1. You are mad because I prodded your new article. - Stop. This isn't the place to talk about it. Keep in mind I don't prod things for the hell of it, so be calm and put yourself in my shoes.
  2. You are replying to a message I left on your talk page - Don't reply here! Reply on your talk page, I'll be watching!
  3. You want to discuss an article - Feel free to drop a message here linking to a discussion that you have already started on that article's talk page. (Right?)
  4. You think I'm harassing you - Unlikely. I'm a patroller, so it is my job to keep track of everything you do.
  5. You think I abused something. - Stop. Starting a discussion here will most likely get me irritated. I suggest e-mailing me over your concern.
  6. You actually wish to talk to me - Welcome! You are in the right place, start a new discussion at the bottom of the page!

[edit] Welcome

Hello Mr. Oblivion! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask me or one of our mentors. Enjoy! --SerCenKing Talk 04:25, 4 May 2009 (EDT)

Thank you very much! --Mr. Oblivion 21:02, 4 May 2009 (EDT)

[edit] Template on your sandbox

I'd strongly suggest putting <nowiki> </nowiki> tags around templates such as {{proposeddeletion}} so that they do not add your sandbox to the list of pages that need to be deleted. :) Otherwise it'll needlessly clutter the admins' maintenance pages with links to pages that should be deleted but actually shouldn't. --Gez 17:40, 26 May 2009 (EDT)

Errrr.... good point. I fill fix it now. :) --Mr. Oblivion(T-C) 17:45, 26 May 2009 (EDT)
