Cost of filled Soulgem

Does anyone know how the price of a filled soulgem is calculated? -85.179.105.169 22:56, 19 December 2008 (EST)

I believe it is just soul size × value of empty gem. Thus, a Golden Saint (soul: 400) in a Grand Soul Gem (value: 200) is worth 80000 gold. For souls that are small enough to fit in smaller soul gems, you definitely get a different value depending on which gem you use. (And of course any soul in Azura's Star is worth a lot more, but that's a real waste unless you can steal it back afterwards.) --TheRealLurlock ^Talk 23:27, 19 December 2008 (EST)

Almalexia's Soul

How come Almalexia's soul is not listed here? Is it because it is Almalexia is part of an expansion of something? Can you please add Almalexia to the list? Thanks.

You clearly don't understand the point. And if you want me to speak to you with respect don't use hyperbole on me. New users like me are perhaps accustomed to the Skyrim convetion of placing all information on one page and using superscript to indicate expansions. Dragonborn info is on a separate page than skyrim info, just as Tribunal information (about Almalexia's soul) is on a separate page from Morrowind information. It is completely consistent. We organize information using namespaces if it is warranted. In this case, since the namespace exists, we use it. Someone who has the base game doesn't want to have to sort through the expansions to find what they are looking for, just as someone who is playing through the tribunal quests doesn't want to have to sort through the base game info to find what they need. Yes quest info is on different pages. But ingredients, weapons, spells, souls, creatuers and all manner of items are all listed together with a superscript of DB for Dragonborn, DG for Dawnguard, and HF for Hearthfire. Creatures, Weapons, and most items are separate when there are separate namespaces. DG and HF do not have separate namespaces, so all their info is integrated with Skyrims. But Ingredients, Spells, Creatures, among others, all have separate pages in the Dragonborn namespace. Jeancey (talk) 00:24, 12 November 2013 (GMT)

(←) A very small amount of Dragonborn pages were merged with Skyrim pages while retaining the original Dragonborn pages. This is an exception, not a norm, and followed a specific discussion. Dagoth Velos

Dagoth Velos is mentioned twice, with different values for his soul (280 and 300). On the Ash Creatures page yet another strength is mentioned (220). Which one is correct?
