Gin-Wulm

Gin-Wulm, a smith at The Best Defense in the Imperial City's Market District, wanders around the Market and Elven Gardens Districts. He can normally be found when he leaves The Best Defense right after 08:00 am. He will give Master Armorer training if he finds you worthy.

[edit] Armorer Master Training

The two advanced trainers who can give you the master training reference necessary to start this quest are Rasheda and Rohssan.

At first, Gin-Wulm is rather indignant at the presumption of your request, and gives you a quiz: "What does the name Hazadir mean to you?" You must have read the book The Armorer's Challenge or have it in your inventory to provide the correct answer "He won the armorer's challenge." Once you answer correctly, you can receive your training.

The book is available at the nearby First Edition bookstore and on the top of a bookshelf on the second floor of the Cheydinhal Fighters Guild. Simply reading the book is sufficient; purchasing it is not necessary.

[edit] Quest Stages

Armorer Training (TrainingArmorer)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 To train further in my Armorer study, I must speak with Gin-Wulm in the Imperial City's Market District.
20 I must find the answer to Gin-Wulm's question: "What does the name Hazadir mean to you?" He hinted that a book in the shop First Edition may have the answer.
100 0Yes I have answered Gin-Wulm's question, and he has agreed to train me.
200 0Yes Gin-Wulm is dead. I can receive no further training in my Armorer skill.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage quest stage. Where quest is the internal name of the quest, and stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
