Kemen is a medium Ayleid ruin east of Cheydinhal containing undead. [edit] It contains two zones: Kemen and Kemen Varlasel.

  • The exterior is located at coordinates: Tamriel 34, 23
  • This location's map marker (M on map) is named Kemen (editor name KemenMapMarker). The entrance door is E of the marker, 50 feet away.
  • 2 Wilderness Creatures (Mountains variety) are near the entrance
  • The following plants can be found near the entrance: 26 Clouded Funnel Cap plants, 17 Motherwort plants, and 21 Tinder Polypore plants
  • 1 bedroll is at location b on map

When you enter, you face two possible choices for how to explore the ruin; either continue down the hallway or jump down into one of the chambers below. Either way will lead you to the boss chest. If you're in a hurry, go down the hallway; if you don't mind facing a couple more enemies in exchange for a little more loot, jump down.

Entering through door D puts you on a small balcony overlooking the room containing the boss chest; however, unless you have a high enough Acrobatics skill, you will have to go back through door C to return to the first zone.

  • 4 Gas traps at F, activated by raising the Varla Stone cages

  • There are two doors (at C and D) in/out of this zone, both leading to the zone Kemen
