Quest-Related Events[edit]

After defeating Mad Baron Densil and retrieving the gilded lute during the Order of the Albatross task, Sir Brenvale's spirit will appear and will guide you through to the exit of the Deep Crypts. He will serenade a song:

Sir Brenvale: "La! At last someone has retrieved my gilded lute!"
Sir Brenvale: "Come, follow me, away from this place. That ghastly mad spirit may return anon!"
Sir Brenvale: "Hark, I shall serenade you on your way!"
Sir Brenvale: "Oh Sir Brenvale did enter these halls with a heart full of song…."
Sir Brenvale: "La! It did not take him long to hear the spirit's call, oh!"
Sir Brenvale: "He met with the Mad Duke in combat. Oh ho! And they danced with sword all night long! La!"
Sir Brenvale: "Alas Brenvale's skill was all for naught and the quest went all a-wrong. Oh!"
Sir Brenvale: "And now you know the end of the tale! Oh ho! This is where I bid you…adieu!"

You can speak to him before you head out:

"Sir Brenvale, the golden voiced, the silver-tongued, once the head of the Order of the Albatross.
At your service, oh gentle folk!"
The Order of the Albatross sent us to retrieve your lute.
"Of course they did. Good chaps. And of course, I was one of the order's most renowned composers.
They no doubt wish to put my beautiful gilded lute in a place of honor."
I'm assisting my friend in her trial for the order.
"Ah yes, I'm sure when I did not return there was many a fair damsel who wept inconsolable tears.
After all, once you hear my voice raised in song…to know the voice of Sir Brenvale the Golden was silenced. A tragedy."
Well, thank you for the lute.
"Of course, of course! I commend your efforts. Please let the rest of the order know that I, Sir Brenvale the Golden, shall now depart this plane at last.
My next performance will be in the great theatres of Aetherius! Adieu!"

Once finishing speaking to him, he will bid you goodbye and depart for Aetherius:

Sir Brenvale: "Farewell, farewell."
