Parenthesis next to skill markers?[edit]

What are the numbers inside the parenthesis for in this case? I do not see anywhere on the page in which this indicates toward, or why it's there to begin with. ᴷᴬᴸᴯᴵᴻᵀᴵ□ᴻ 22:45, 12 February 2013 (GMT)

Scratch that, I noticed the note under the table itself. Though I had spent a few minutes looking at the page, that small tidbit of information was completely oblivious to me. Perhaps this could be mentioned prior to the table and not as a small note under it? ᴷᴬᴸᴯᴵᴻᵀᴵ□ᴻ 22:46, 12 February 2013 (GMT)
Good point. I had never thought about it in detail, myself. Even now after reading it, I'm not sure exactly what the numbers mean. --JR (talk) 02:08, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
The first number is how many perks there are in the tree counting leveled perks, like Shield Wall, only once; the second number is how many perks there are in the tree counting leveled perks once per level, so Shield Wall would count five times. Robin Hood  (talk) 04:23, 13 February 2013 (GMT)

Previous Games Skill Differences[edit]

I am not really for presenting information pre-oblivion for skill differences. There is too much of a time gap between games being made and most people will most likely have played the previous installment of the game if any. Hard-core fans of the series will know the changes from game to game already, or can find out just by playing through one of them. The information in regards to oblivion is large enough to not really be a note anymore, as there is quite a bit listed. Perhaps making this its own section called "Changes From Oblivion" or something similar to dictate that there are some changes, would free up notes section for potentially better notes and make people who want skill changes to be able to find it quickly. The information already could be formatted into a table with the headers "Oblivion Skill", "Skyrim Replacement", "Notes". The "Notes" header could be used to explain why something was removed, or if the skill is different than the oblivion skill itself, even though it's named the same or renamed but isn't quite the same. ᴷᴬᴸᴯᴵᴻᵀᴵ□ᴻ 03:31, 14 February 2013 (GMT)

You've convinced me. You might leave the suggestion here for a couple of days to see if anyone adds a comment, or just do it and address it if anyone thinks they have a better idea. The same issue arises on SR:Leveling, and I dunno where else. --JR (talk) 15:03, 14 February 2013 (GMT)
