Dorsza Pass is a road between the provinces of Morrowind and Black Marsh. It is a ruined quarry with a large pile of earth created by a primitive, long-dead Argonian tribe to fortify the border. The pile stretched for miles on end and the pass was overgrown with weeds and twisted gnarled trees. In the summertime, it is fuming with swamp gas. It is notoriously where the Prince of the Second Empire, Juilek was murdered in 1E 2920.[1]

In ancient times, an Argonian tribe attempted to defend their border by building a mound of dirt and mud against an invasive force from the north. Evidently, with the broken opening, this effort was proven a failure. According to the 2920, The Last Year of the First Era historical-fiction series, after receiving correspondence from his mother, Tavia, Juilek made his way through Dorsza Pass from Morrowind after signing the Cervant Truce with Vivec in Ald Lambasi. The Prince lifted his shield to avoid an attack from a Morag Tong assassin meant for his father, but despite his best ability to survive, he was assassinated. The assassin, Miramor destroyed the Cervant Truce and returned to Gideon where he met his employer.[1]
