The area in which Glenumbra Moors is found

The Barony of Glenumbra Moors is a coastal province of High Rock. To the northwest is Northmoor; north lies Glenpoint, while Tulune is situated to the east.[1] The provincial capital is called Glenumbra, and the regional deity is Mara.

The province celebrates three local holidays. On the 8th of Sun's Dawn, the people of Glenumbra Moors remember the battle between Aiden Direnni and the Alessian Army in the first era in a holiday called the Day of Release. On the 8th of Sun's Dusk, the province celebrates the Moon Festival, celebrating the ancient goddess of the moons, Secunda. On the 23rd of Frost Fall there is another holiday called "Broken Diamonds", in remembrance of the death of Kintyra Septim II. The author Ryston Baylor wrote a book, also called Broken Diamonds, about the holiday and its origin.

During the Warp in the West, this region became a part of the city state, Daggerfall.
