Veyond Cave

Veyond Cave is a large cave north of Bravil containing NPCs. [edit] It contains four zones: Veyond Cave, Veyond Black Waters, Veyond Sea of Darkness, and Veyond Great Sump.

Notes

  • This cave contains 20 Cairn Bolete plants and 54 Wisp Stalk plants.
  • There is a second entrance to this cave underwater in Niben Bay. However, this entrance will not appear on your compass.
  • In two of the zones (Veyond Cave and Veyond Sea of Darkness), most of the water is waist deep; these zones could possibly be explored without water breathing spells or potions. Half of the third zone, Veyond Black Waters, and all of the fourth zone, Veyond Great Sump, are in deep water that require water breathing abilities, preferably an enchanted item that provides constant water breathing. Some water breathing potions can be found in the cave, but not enough to explore the entire cave.
  • Be prepared to fight underwater, which means primarily melee combat. For spellcasters, targeted spells do not work underwater, so a touch spell that does damage is required. Bows only work at very close distance (arrows only travel a short way then float to the surface) and therefore are not particularly useful. Although poison can be applied to weapons underwater, it is useless against argonians (magnitude 100 resist poison).
