Schedule[edit]

I can't get this guy to leave his house, no matter what I do. Anybody else have experienced this problem? Krusty 11:32, 19 February 2009 (EST)

Hmm. Looks like a bug. This was the first one I did, and I did it from the CS without any in-game checking. He does indeed stay in his house, but he shouldn't. He's supposed to "escort" 5 loaves of bread to the city's inns, but the packages don't kick in because he has no bread and won't pick any up. It's just as well it doesn't. If you give him some bread with the console (just dropping it doesn't seem to work) he'll leave his house and head to the inns, reach his spot, start to eat a loaf... and the game crashes. Every time, guaranteed. I'm still looking into ways around the bug, but for now it can definitely be said that he stays in his house. –RpehTCE 13:12, 19 February 2009 (EST)
Thanks a lot - I was going insane waiting for that guy. And maybe it's for the best if you do the "new" schedule as you can probably explain the problem a lot better than I can? And by the way, do you have an answer for my question regarding Marie Palielle? Krusty 13:57, 19 February 2009 (EST)
And don't do TOO much in-game checking - if you know what I mean.... — Unsigned comment by Krusty (talkcontribs) at 00:47 on 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Inventory[edit]

Is it me, or is his page lacking a description on inventory? Krusty 09:24, 12 March 2009 (EDT)

It mentions his key, which is the only interesting item he holds. I'm not sure we really need to list every item an NPC owns. –RpehTCE 14:14, 12 March 2009 (EDT)

Salmo vs. Salmo the Baker[edit]

My recent edit added "the Baker" to the end of Salmo's name in the first paragraph, based on his house name and what seems to be common procedure for titles. It was reverted, based on the fact that the word 'baker' is used too many times in the first sentence. This can easily be fixed (and should be), as his class is in fact 'commoner'. I'm wondering if this is the sole reason for the revert or if there was more behind it, and if so how could the info be improved upon (as I feel his full title needs to be mentioned somewhere other than the Skingrad map). Legoless 18:50, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Well, his in-game name is simply "Salmo" but his house is called "Salmo the Baker's House" - seems like the appropriate thing to do is a redirect, as several Skingrad citizens refer top him as "the baker" as well. --Krusty 19:03, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
What about calling him either Salmo "the baker" or Salmo (the baker). --Archain 21:43, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
The quotation marks might work. Salmo "the Baker" is an Altmer commoner living in Skingrad... It would show that while it isn't the NPC's true name, he is still referred to as such. Thoughts? Legoless 21:51, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
I created a redirect at Oblivion:Salmo the Baker. In game though, he is referred to as Salmo, although his house and the Guide to Skingrad refer to him as Salmo the Baker. --DKong27 Talk Cont 22:06, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Salmo "the baker" sounds good if you ask me, i agree calling him that in the article. --Archain 22:14, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
I've re-added the title, making the appropriate changes. The redirect is good as well. If anyone sees a problem with it please post it here. Legoless 00:01, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm not convinced... it doesn't read right to me but it looks like I'm on my own here. The redirect is a good idea though. rpeh •TCE 08:56, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
