[edit] Namira

Namira is the Daedric Prince whose sphere is the ancient darkness. She is known as the Spirit Daedra, ruler of sundry dark and shadowy spirits, and is often associated with spiders, insects, slugs, and other repulsive creatures which inspire mortals with an instinctive revulsion. Namira's followers keep to themselves and prefer living peacefully in dark and squalid conditions, and will react violently at any attempts to "save" them from their abysmal, minimalistic lifestyles. As detailed in the book the Beggar Prince, Namira also appears to be associated with Cyrodiil's beggars, controlling the beggaring gifts of disease, pity and disregard.

[edit] Nerevar, God Killer

Indoril Nerevar was the Chimeri king of Resdayn (modern-day Morrowind), a war hero who united his people, and the founder of House Indoril. He became the Herald of the Tribune Way, and as such is the foremost of the saints of Dunmeri faith, along with his wife, blessed Almalexia the Warden, Lord Sotha Sil the Magus, Lord Vivec the Poet, and Saint Veloth the Pilgrim. Prophecies of his "rebirth" as the Nerevarine and heroic return to Morrowind fueled the creation of the Nerevarine Cult. He possessed the Dwarven artifact Moon-and-Star, a ring which lent him supernatural powers of persuasion; because he was the only person who could wear the ring, it also became a means to prove the identity of the Nerevarine.

[edit] Nine Divines

The nine great faiths and gods of Tamriel. They are Akatosh, Dibella, Arkay, Zenithar, Mara, Stendarr, Kynareth, Julianos, and Talos. The Eight Divines preceeded the Nine Divines, and includes the same gods except for Talos.

[edit] Nocturnal

Nocturnal is the Daedric Prince whose sphere is the night and darkness. She is also known as the Night Mistress. The Cyrodiilic Thieves Guild leader, The Gray Fox, has the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, which was actually stolen from her by the then Thieves Guild guildmaster Emer Dareloth, which truly represents the sphere's darkness quality; it permanently removes the wearer's specific identity from all history. Regardless, the Cyrodiil Thieves Guild venerates Nocturnal by ending talks with the saying "Shadow hide you."

Nocturnal rewarded The Hero of Daggerfall with the The Skeleton's Key in exchange for slaying a rogue mage who caused her much grief. Her enemies include Ebonarm and Azura. She has no known allies. She may be summoned on Hearthfire 8th.

Nocturnal rewarded The Champion of Cyrodiil with the Skeleton Key in exchange for recovering an artifact known as the Eye of Nocturnal which had been stolen by a pair of Argonians, Bejeen and Weebam-Na.
