This zone has sections that are underwater

  • Soon after entering you will enter a flooded room with a locked door and a drawbridge. Jumping into the water forces you to go through some tunnels that lead to the other side of the locked door. None of the fort's occupants carry a key to this lock; however, you can explore the entire fort without opening this door. The key can be found on an altar in the winter station zone.
  • The Conjurer on the first level can be used with the flooded room with the drawbridge to create an endless supply of scamps that won't fight back, useful for increasing offensive skills without raising others. See General Combat Strategies.

  • At the northern end of this zone, you will cross a bridge over a room. Dropping into that room is the only way to access several sections of the fort (containing several chests of loot). The passageways from that room will lead back to an otherwise inaccessible upper section of the first zone.
