Dayspring Canyon is the wilderness area surrounding Fort Dawnguard. The cave entrance to the canyon is located southeast of Riften, just north-northeast of Stendarr's Beacon.
Its entrance leads to a narrow, winding path which opens up past a pond and leads to the fort. There is an enclosed garden including cabbage, gourd, and potato plants close to the fort. There is also a wood chopping block nearby as well. Several Dawnguard members patrol the area surrounding the fort. Various animals, such as deer, fox, and rabbits, can be encountered throughout this area.

[edit] Notes
- If you access the roof of Fort Dawnguard, you can find the One-handed skill book 2920, Morning Star, v1 next to a bed roll, as well as an amulet of Talos resting atop a barrel.
