[edit] The Quarra Amulet

The Quarra Clan leader, Volrina Quarra, at the bottom of Druscashti, will ask you to retrieve for her a number of ingredients for making some magical amulets with. The list includes:

Unfortunately, most of the items are rather rare and difficult to get, though you may already have a number of them in whatever hoard you keep. The amulets can be found in a number of places, including crates in smuggler's caves (leveled loot so they are random), such as the cave Yasamsi near Hla Oad. Several NPCs possess an amulet - see the list on the right - including Ralen Hlaalo in Hlaalo Manor, Balmora. Being dead, he won't mind it being taken.

[edit] Finding the ingredients

The four ingredients are slightly easier to get by visiting Telvanni and Mages Guild alchemy vendors. You may have to visit several to find them all. The skull can be found in a great number of places if you just look for one, including the Caldera Mages Guild, or outside the Arano Ancestral Tomb near Tel Branora.

Return to Volrina once you have all the items to receive one of her older amulets, allowing you to Recall to the Clan's headquarters at will.

[edit] But wait, there is more

Volrina Quarra will then tell you that you might find further reward if you kill any 12 vampires from the other clans, Aundae or Berne. Any vampires that you killed previously as a vampire count towards the 12. If you kill any of your own clan during the quest, you will need to kill that many extra from the other clans.

Return to Volrina once you've killed 12 vampires to receive permission to use Vampire Touch on the Clan's cattle to heal yourself (just don't kill them).

[edit] Note

This last quest may be broken. It is not really a problem, since this is the last quest for the Quarra Clan. You can download a mod called 'vampire quest repair' to fix this broken quest if you wish.

Index Journal Entry
10 Volrina Quarra has offered me the chance to perform another service for her. She needs to make a large number of magical amulets for her clan, and has need of raw materials to do so.
20 I have agreed to find the ingredients Volrina Quarra needs. The raw materials are five extravagant sapphire amulets, two portions of void salts, the heart of a daedra, some ectoplasm, a skull, and some vampire dust.
25 I have decided not to try and find the materials needed by Volrina Quarra.
30 I have returned to Volrina Quarra with the ingredients she asked for. She apparently was using them to create powerful amulets for her clan. This is not her first attempt at such an enchantment. She has given me as a reward an amulet (one of her failed attempts) that will allow me to return to Druscashti at will. She has also told me that I may earn further reward by killing vampires of other clans.
40Finished Because I have killed a great number of vampires of the Aundae and the Berne Clans, Volrina Quarra has rewarded me with the right to feed from the clan cattle. The only provision is that I may not kill any of them. If I do, I will no longer be welcome in Druscashti, and will be attacked on sight.
50Finished Because I have killed some of the cattle, I have lost the privilege of using them for food.
