Mirel is a male Golden Saint. His role in the Battle of Cylarne is to inform the player and Aurmazl Kaneh of a secret passage to the Altar of Despair. The player then has the option to scout this secret route, and advise Aurmazl Kaneh on which route to take to attack the Dark Seducers.
