Ah, Good. I have a letter for you. Apparently more than simple chance brought you here.

Far have I come to speak with you on behalf of the Oracle, the wise woman of Hammerfell. The Archmagister of the Mages Guild has spoken highly of you as an honorable and talented caster of magicka. Please come meet with me as soon as possible; time is a circumscribed commodity. Without your help, the Oracle's dark prophecy will come to pass in (time), and all of (region) will weep. I must see you soon.

[edit] Walkthrough

At the right hand corner should be a location to meet the oracle. If the city you are in has a temple, he/she will likely be there. Meet with her to find out that a noble is in danger. You should either try to convince him to seek protection or bring the Oracle to convince him.

If you meet with the noble, he won't leave because his lover has been kidnapped. He gives you a location where she is. You can go to the dungeon and rescue her and returning her nets you some random gold and +5 reputation with the Mages Guild.

You can also bring the Oracle to the noble. The Acolyte gives you a location. If its a town, the Oracle will be at the local temple. Pick the oracle up and bring her to the noble for +5 reputation in the Mages Guild and +5 reputation with Sentinel.

If you are feeling super heroic, you can do both. Pick up the lover, then head to the temple and grab the oracle. Then when you talk to the noble both end-dialogues will appear, netting you +10 reputation with the Mages guild, +5 with Sentinel, and some random gold amount.
