Erthor is a male Bosmer mage, and a member of the Skingrad Mages Guild. However, his questionable work ethic posed a nuisance the Guild Hall, so he was sent to live in Bleak Flats Cave, north of the city. During the Skingrad Recommendation quest, the player is sent to rescue him from undead creatures in the cave. Once rescued he divides his time between the Mages Guild and the cave, heading to the cave on a Thursday and to Skingrad on a Monday. He has no other purpose in the game, so there is no reason to visit him further. Although you may want to take him with you on some trips before taking him to Skingrad as he is quite a powerful follower.
