[edit] Detailed Walkthrough
[edit] Quest Offer
Once you turned into a vampire you may get a letter from a pale young boy saying:
(building)
(town)
Dear (player's name),
(vampire bloodline) need you. Come immediately.
Yours in Death,
(vampire NPC)
[edit] Quest Object
After you have read the letter meet the vampire NPC in the town he/she mentioned. You will be told that a local warlord is waging a private war against your vampire bloodline, but the vampires don't want you to kill him/her, because he/she could be turned into a valuable ally. Your task is to "persuade" the warlord to stop his/her actions against your bloodline, but he/she must stay alive. You will be told the dungeon where the warlord is hiding, travel there and find him/her within. The warlord will be a knight class enemy. Once you have found him/her injure him/her with your weapon, your bare hands or a spell, but don't kill the warlord. Once he/she was injured he/she will say:
Sweet (random god), tell (vampire bloodline) that I'll do anything! Just don't kill me!
or
(exclamation), I surrender! I'll do anything they want, just please, in the name of (random god), don't kill me!
and he/she will stop attacking you. Leave the dungeon and report back to the vampire NPC. He/She will give you a random piece of jewelry for your service.
[edit] Quest End
If you have intimidated the warlord successfully, the vampire NPC will say:
(warlord's name) is half out of (his/her) mind, (player's first name). What a terror you are. (vampire bloodline) feel that you deserve this (jewelry) in recognition of your loyalty and remarkable ... restraint in this matter. Well done, tribesman.
[edit] Reputation Gain/Loss
A successfully completed quest results in a reputation gain according to the table below.
A failed quest results in a reputation loss according to the table below.
(Allies/Enemies affiliations for listed factions are not considered)
The Vampire Bloodline will always be the dominant bloodline of the region were the quest takes places.
[edit] Enemies
- Random dungeon monsters
- Quest Target: One Knight you must not kill
