[edit] Detailed Walkthrough
[edit] Quest Offer
Noble says:
I have a somewhat complicated mission that needs a fourth man involved. It might take a couple of days to accomplish, but it will mean an extra (random gold) gold in your pocket. Sound intriguing?
[edit] Quest Acceptance
Noble goes on:
I have a contact in (first town) who has a certain item needed by another associate of mine in (second town). Of course, (first contact's name), my contact in (first town) needs to be paid for (his/her) item. That is why I need you to bring this diamond as payment to (first contact's name). The diamond needs to be in (his/her) possession in (first time limit) days. Once you have made it to (bulding), (first contact's name) will give you further instructions. Thank you, (player's first name), and (random deity) be with you.
[edit] Quest Decline
Noble answers:
That is a disappointment. Ah well.
[edit] Quest Object
This quest is once again a simple delivery, you will encounter no enemies on your way. Just travel to the town the noble's first contact is staying. Find your contact and deliver the diamond to him/her. The door(s) of the building where the contact is staying may be locked, so come prepared just in case. Get a magical item from the contact in return as well as the name and the whereabouts of a second contact. Travel to that second town and find the contact there by asking around. Once you have found him/her, hand over the magical item and collect your reward in return. The door(s) of the building where the second contact is staying may also be locked. You can keep either the diamond or the magical item you shall deliver. However this would result in a big reputation loss with the noble and his/her associates.
[edit] Quest End
When you give the magical item to the second contact he/she will say:
Ah, the (magical item). I was afraid it would never arrive. Well, here's your (random gold) gold, as promised. Tell (second contact's name) I am in (his/her) debt. And thank you as well.
[edit] Reputation Gain/Loss
A successfully completed quest results in a reputation gain according to the table below.
| Faction/Person | Reputation Gain |
|---|---|
| Noble you got the quest from | +5 |
| Noble's associated factions | +2 |
In case you don't deliver the diamond or the magical item in time, you will lose reputation according to the table below.
(Allies/Enemies affiliations for listed factions are not considered)
[edit] Enemies
- None
[edit] Notes
- In case you keep the diamond or the magical item, it will remain in your inventory and won't vanish once the quest is over, as it is usual the case for quest items.
- There is an error in the quest dialog, the second contact refers to the first contact by using his/her own name.
