Oblivion talk:Necromancer's Amulet
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
"It must be given up after the quest and cannot subsequently be retrieved."
This is wrong. The Bloodworm helm and the Necromancers amulet are in a locked chest in the Arch-mages chambers which you can open with the Arch-mages key. Wait until you have become Arch-mage yourself to take them legally (without them registering as stolen items).

[edit] Amulet is Retrievable
You probably think that you can't get a copy of the Necromancer's Amulet. You are wrong. Behold:
- Attain the Skull of Corruption prior to the quest.
- Clone Caranya during the fight.
- Kill her clone, immediately save and reload.
- Immediately access the clone's inventory upon reloading.
- Take the Amulet.
- Do not take the original amulet.
- Return the copy to Traven.
- Go back to get your very own Necromancer's Amulet!
- Do not under any circumstances take both Amulets. This will glitch the quest when you hand it over to Traven.
- The Amulet will no longer be a quest item.
- There is an easier way to get the Amulet if you have SI. Simply get the Risen Flesh power and use it on Caranya after she dies. Another Amulet will appear on her corpse for every time she is ressurected. Again, make sure that you don't take both when you go to Traven. --66.183.229.164 14:52, 4 July 2008 (EDT)
