Captain Renault is a female Breton Blade. She is the commander of Baurus and Glenroy, the two other blades with Emperor Uriel Septim during the introduction. She will be killed rather quickly when the blades engage the Mythic Dawn assassins. She drops her Akaviri Katana, a steel shortsword, and a torch. You cannot loot her armor. You can pick up her katana and use it during the tutorial, but Baurus will take it from you at the end of the tutorial, before you enter the sewers.
