Daggerfall:Fighters Guild
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
The Fighters Guild, present across all of Tamriel, provides a common, and more importantly, public place of training and study for those of the warrior persuasion. The guild is a professional organization chartered by the Emperor to regulate the hiring and training of mercenaries. Training, goods, and services are cheaper for members, and the Guild Stewards know where to find work.
The Fighters Guild was founded in the 320th year of the 2nd Era by Versidue-Shaie at the suggestion of Dinieras-Ves "the Iron" to provide for public order without having to resort to standing armies. At first, it was called The Syffim ('soldiers' in Tsaesci). Although it began as an Akaviri-only organization, it eventually opened its doors to all races.
For general information about the Fighters Guild, see the Lore article.
In the Iliac Bay, the Fighters Guild is often essential for getting things done, leading to a range of possible assignments for guild members. Some quests involve killing creatures that have made their way into houses, killing giants and harpies, and protecting people. This is also the only guild that has a non-random quest, the infamously named "Lord K'avar quest" due to the (possible) waves of assassins.

Note: In Hammerfell the Fighters Guild exists often as a holy order and is called The Fighter Trainers. The guildhalls of this Fighters Guild are holy places and count as temples. Its smiths can also repair more than one item at once. Beside this little features, the Fighters Trainers are identical to the Fighters Guild which can be found in the remaining regions of the Iliac Bay.

[edit] Members
[edit] Questgiver
He assigns quests and possible rewards to members and non-members of the Guild.
[edit] Smith
He will repair non-magical armors and weapons for every member of the Guild. The costs of his services depend primarily on the Rank one has within the Guild.
The repair time is one or more days, depending on how worn the item is and how many items he is already repairing. He can only repair one item at a time, which is a serious drawback compared to Armorers, General Stores and Weapon Smiths.
However the smith of the Fighter Trainers, the religious order as which the Fighters Guild appears in many regions of Hammerfell, can repair as many items as Armorers, General Stores and Weapon Smiths.
[edit] Trainer
She will train every member in the Skills the Guild offers. The costs are dependent on the level of one's character, 100 gold per level to be more precisely. She, like all other trainers, can raise one's skills only to 50.
