Healing is a novice level Restoration spell, which will slowly restore the health of the caster.
[edit] Effects
- Regeneration, increases health (and stamina with the Respite perk) restoration to 15/sec.
- Combined with the Equilibrium spell from Alteration, this can be an easy (if slow) way to train the Restoration skill.
- Comparing this to Fast Healing and Close Wounds, Healing is the most efficient of the three, with a health:magicka ratio of 0.83, vs 0.68 with Fast Healing or 0.79 for Close Wounds (1.25 vs 1.03 vs. 1.19 with the Regeneration perk). Fast Healing and Close Wounds are obviously preferable in an emergency though, since they work instantly.
