Animal Parts are various items that can be harvested from dead animals but have limited use. They are listed separately from other animal-derived products because game merchants categorize them differently. For other related items see:

Animal parts are traded by apothecaries and by hunters encountered in the wilderness.

  • 1 Dragon Bone is needed to build a Shrine of Talos in the cellar of a Hearthfire house.

  • 27 guaranteed samples are found in 20 different locations. Locations with multiple tusks are: Hunter's camp 420 ft S of Bleakcoast Cave (Winterhold) with 4 tusks; Brinewater Grotto with 3 tusks; Hag's End with 3 tusks.
  • They do not have any uses in the original version of the game.
  • If Hearthfire is installed, it is used for various furnishing options for your player-built home.
